Fraser Valley Buyer's Agent
The way real estate laws were written in the past, all real estate agents worked for the seller. This meant that the buyers had no representation when buying a home, as both the Listing Agent and the Selling Agent (the real estate agent that brought the buyer) were in fact the seller's agents. These laws have since been amended and home buyers are now entitled to full representation. To enjoy this full representation and to ensure that the Realtor is working solely for you, you should have your Realtor sign the Buyers Agency Agreement.
My services as a Realtor are free to all buyers. I will be paid by the Listing Agent when we close a deal that satisfies all parties. As your Agent, I will never disclose your motivation to buy in a transaction or your best offer. A Listing Agent or Seller's Agent cannot guarantee this confidentiality as legally they are obligated to disclose such information to the seller.
